I never intended to become a triathlete.  I just wanted to show up, qualify for Kona Ironman, and scratch it off my bucket list.  But I'm grateful for my ignorance, because it changed my life.

Triathlon has become a lifestyle for me, and has really allowed me to express my passion for life.  I pride myself on my willingness to work as hard as it takes to accomplish my goals.  My interests include going fast, and infecting everyone around me with the triathlon bug.  It really is the world's greatest sport!
In 2015, I represented Team Canada at two Grand Finals, with a personal best of 2:08 in the Standard distance.  Recent triathlon adventures include setting a PB of 9:20 at Ironman Melbourne and missing out on a Kona spot by only 3 minutes!  Racing Ironman 70.3 in St. Croix in 2015, I placed 1st in the 25-29 age group on a borrowed 1994 Quintana Roo!  Qualifying for Kona during a punishing day in the rain at Ironman Canada Whistler in 2015 was a personal victory!
My 2106 race plan include Wildflower Triathlon in Victoria, Great White North Half Ironman, Ironman Canada Whistler, and the Ironman World Chamionships in Hawaii.
