Jenn Sauve

Edmonton, Alberta

Jenn is a mother of two young boys who recently discovered triathlon and the wonderful sense of community in the triathlon world.

Jenn is a 34 year old mom of two young boys.  She feels luckily to have found a wonderful outlet and sense of drive through triathlon, and loves the amazing sense of community in the sport.  She did her first triathlon (a "Try-a-Tri" in 2015) and instantly knew she'd found "home".  She loves every aspect of training, especially the solitude and peaceful beauty of winter running, and breakneck downhill speeds on her tri bike.

Jenn has raced a handful of Olympic and Sprint distance events, as well as several Half Ironmans.  To date, her most memorable races were Hawaii 70.3 2016, and the Great White North Half Iron.  Hawaii 70.3 was a both a vacation and race with some good tri-buddies.  At GWN 2016 Jenn had a personal best time and placement.  She is just getting started and we're confident that 2017 will see her crush her previous PB!

2017 Race Plans

2017 is going to be a very big year for Jenn.  Like many of us, she is focusing in the off season on leaning up, building functional strength with cross training and weights, and doing hot yoga to balance things out.  Racing schedule so far includes:

Victoria 70.3 Ironman (June)

Calgary 70.3 Ironman (July)

World ITU Long Distance Championships (August)

Jenn worked very hard in 2016 to qualified for the World's and is proud to be representing Canada.

We look forward to seeing just how much more Jenn will achieve in 2017!
