Jason Britton

Edmonton, Alberta

Jason has been coaching triathlon for 10 years, and is currently Element's triathlon-specific swim training Coach.  His background is competitive swimming, but he was drawn to triathlon several years ago, and enjoyed some immediate successful race results.

Jason has competed at the Elite level off and on, and has stepped to the start line with many of the best in the sport from Standard to Ironman distance triathlon.  He was Alberta's Elite Triathlete of the year in 2003, and Canada's Age Group Triathlete of the year in 2011.  Currently, he has the longest consecutive streak of triathlon world championship competitions in 15 years, and plans to continue to increase that number!  Around all that, he's also made time to be heavily involved as a volunteer for the Edmonton Coronation Triathlon, Edmonton ITU, and the Firefighters Off Road Triathlon for several years.
